About us

We help young adults and adults with divorced and separated parents give voice to their pain and find deep spiritual healing. 

We are a Catholic, peer-led ministry that provides unique means for Christ to transform their life-draining wounds into life-giving resources of faith, hope, love, and joy for themselves, their relationships, and the Church. We accomplish this work of spiritual healing through: 

• Content: we provide content and resources shared through our social media, website, online store, presentations, and blog that reached over 160,000 people.
• Formation: we provide one-of-a-kind, peer-led retreats, support groups, and soon online courses that go deeper into a person’s healing, offer mentorship, and specific, practical guidance about how to grow in virtue in response to their wounds. For leaders, we offer a robust leadership training course, resources, leaders-only community, and consultation.
• Community: we offer online ministry and community, and setup in-person chapters across the country to be local hubs of community and formation to young adult and adult children of divorce. These places of communities seek to connect adult children of divorce and separation to fellow peers, married mentor couples, psychological counseling, and spiritual direction.

This online Life-Giving Wounds community provides all three elements of our ministry - content, formation, and community - in one place! 

This online community is a social network, just like Facebook, except it's better! It's completely ours, free of ads, trolls, and tracking. It also enables us to do special features like online courses, multiple groups, and multiple discussion forums on relevant topics for your needs. 

It is open to only participants in Life-Giving Wounds programs, alumni, and LGW supporters.
